What do we do?

God established his church to enable people to understand their need of restoration and to prepare them for his eventual return, as revealed in the Bible. As a local group of believing Christians, we strive to convey the message of the Bible to others and live according to the teachings of Christ and the apostles.

We follow, as far as is practicable in the 21st century, the examples and practices of the first disciples who formed the original "church." Our services and other meetings are aimed at being consistent with the following core statement of the very beginning of the church as recorded in The Acts of the Apostles:

"And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine (teaching) and fellowship, and in the breaking of bread, and in prayers." (Acts 2:46)

We undertake prison ministry and support a summer camp in Central Florida for children, young people and families. We also support missionary work both in the United States and overseas.

In addition to the formal services, we meet informally at people's homes for Bible study, singing, potluck suppers and other social activities.
